Kenai Lake Alaska
Fed by the age old glaciers surrounding this tranquil valley, Kenai Lake takes on a vibrant aqua greenish blue color that really is amazing to look at. In the right light, the waters turns to a turquoise green color formed from silt washing downstream from melting of the glaciers that once blanketed this part of Alaska. Remnants of these age old bodies of ice can still be seen clinging to the sides of the mountains surrounding the lake.
